Miley Cyrus Is Officially Engaged to Maxx Morando

Rumors of an engagement gained momentum after Cyrus attended the Avatar: Fire and Ash world premiere in Los Angeles on December 1. Walking the red carpet with Morando, 27, the multi-Grammy winner flashed a sparkling diamond ring on her left hand, prompting immediate speculation. The ring had reportedly made earlier appearances in mid-November, when Deux Moi first noted its presence in photos from Cyrus’ birthday celebration.

Jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche later confirmed that her team created the bespoke ring specifically for Cyrus. The piece features a cushion-cut diamond set on a bold 14-karat yellow gold band  a look that aligns with Cyrus’ love for timeless pieces that still carry a distinctive edge.

Cyrus and Morando’s romance dates back to late 2021, when they were photographed together backstage at Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party in Miami. Though only rumored at the time, their relationship was later confirmed when the pair were spotted kissing in West Hollywood in April 2022. Since then, the couple has maintained a relatively private partnership, occasionally appearing together at industry events while avoiding the media frenzy that once defined Cyrus’ past relationships.

In a 2023 British Vogue cover story, Cyrus revealed the charming story of how she and Morando first met: a blind date,  at least for her. “The worst that can happen is I leave,” she recalled thinking at the time. By early 2024, the couple had taken a significant step forward by moving in together. He later co-wrote and produced several songs for her ninth album, Something Beautiful, showcasing a creative synergy that mirrors the ease of their personal relationship.

At the 2024 Grammy Awards, where Cyrus won Record of the Year for “Flowers,” she publicly acknowledged Morando from the stage, calling him “my love” in a heartfelt tribute. It was a quiet but meaningful moment that many now view as a hint of what was to come.
