TurnTable Charts, Nigeria’s authoritative music-ranking platform, compiles its annual list using a diverse and detailed data system. Its radio airplay chart is powered by Radiomonitor, a leading UK-based radio tracking service. Meanwhile, its Top Streaming chart pulls aggregated data from Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, Audiomack, YouTube, and radio streams. The combination ensures a comprehensive view of Nigerian music consumption across digital and traditional platforms.

Released on Monday, the year-end top 10 list was topped decisively by Joy Is Coming, which outperformed hundreds of songs throughout the 52-week tracking period. The record amassed an extraordinary 87.2 million on-demand streams, earning the No. 1 spot on the year-end streaming chart. On radio, it delivered equally impressive numbers, racking up 1.56 billion impressions and finishing at No. 4 on the radio chart. Its balanced performance across both mediums solidified its place as the undisputed biggest song of 2025.

In second place is Davido’s hit collaboration With You featuring Omah Lay, another track that enjoyed consistent chart success throughout the year. The single peaked at No. 1 during its run and closed 2025 with 61 million total streams (No. 5 on streaming) and a massive 1.83 billion radio impressions, making it the second most-heard song on Nigerian radio.

Shallipopi secured the third position with his infectious anthem Laho. The song gathered 62.1 million streams, ranking fourth on the streaming chart, alongside 1.46 billion radio impressions, further proof of the artiste’s growing influence across Nigeria’s music landscape.

Wizkid claimed the fourth spot with Kese (Dance), which peaked at No. 1 and ranked ninth on streaming with 47.7 million plays. However, its dominance on radio helped boost its overall ranking, as it recorded 1.87 billion impressions, the highest radio reach of any Nigerian song in 2025.

The remainder of the top 10 showcases the range and depth of Nigerian music over the past year. FOLA’s Who Does That? ranked fifth, backed by 62.2 million streams (third on streaming) and 748 million radio impressions. Davido’s second entry on the list, Funds featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, appears at No. 6 after pulling 51.9 million streams and over 1 billion radio impressions.

Kunmie’s Arike comes in seventh, a notable top-tier finisher with 63.9 million streams, the second-highest stream total of the year, although its radio reach of 507 million impressions placed it further down on the airplay chart.

At No. 8 is Pity This Boy by Odumodublvck featuring Victony, which secured 45.8 million streams and 1.06 billion radio impressions. Rema’s Baby (Is It A Crime) follows at No. 9, achieving 36 million streams and an impressive 1.23 billion in radio reach.

Rounding out the top 10 is Seyi Vibez’s SHAOLIN, with 51.3 million streams and 622 million radio impressions, marking another strong year for the artist.

Overall, TurnTable Charts’ 2025 year-end list reflects a year defined by versatility, massive radio consumption, and the continued global momentum of Afrobeats. From viral streaming hits to radio favourites, Nigerian music once again demonstrated its unmatched energy, cultural richness, and ability to shape global soundscapes.
