Charlie Puth, Brandi Carlile & Coco Jones to Perform During 2026 Super Bowl Pregame
The NFL has announced an exciting lineup of performers for the Super Bowl LX pregame show, set to take place on February 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Ahead of the highly-anticipated championship game and a halftime show headlined by Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny, three standout artists will take the stage to deliver some of the nation’s most cherished patriotic songs.
Four-time Grammy nominee Charlie Puth will perform the U.S. national anthem, bringing his signature vocal style and emotional depth to one of the most recognizable songs in American history. The singer, best known for “Attention,” “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” and the breakout hit “See You Again,” will take the spotlight just weeks before the release of his upcoming fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever!, due on March 6.
Eleven-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlile has been selected to perform “America the Beautiful.” The acclaimed singer-songwriter, celebrated for her genre-blending sound and powerful storytelling, continues a remarkable run following the release of her eighth studio album, Returning to Myself, in October. Carlile is also nominated for two Grammys for Who Believes in Angels?, her collaborative album with Elton John, including recognition for their song “Never Too Late” from his documentary Elton John: Never Too Late.
Grammy-winning R&B singer Coco Jones will deliver a rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” often regarded as the Black national anthem. Jones has experienced major success in recent years, winning Best R&B Performance in 2024 for her hit single “ICU.” She also released her debut album Why Not More?, which is nominated for Best R&B Album at the upcoming Grammys. In addition to her music career, Jones stars as Hilary Banks on Peacock’s Bel-Air, which is entering its final season.
“These artists bring a distinct voice to the moment, helping set the tone for a day that will captivate fans around the world,” said Jon Barker, senior vice president of global event production for the NFL.
The pregame performances will be broadcast on NBC, Telemundo, and Peacock, allowing millions of viewers worldwide to tune into the star-studded opening ceremony.
In a historic move, the NFL also announced expanded accessibility efforts for this year’s show. Deaf performing artist Fred Beam will interpret both the national anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” in American Sign Language (ASL), while Julian Ortiz will sign “America the Beautiful.” For the first time ever, the Super Bowl halftime show will feature a multilingual signing program, including Puerto Rican Sign Language, led by interpreter Celimar Rivera Cosme. The initiative is made possible through partnerships with Alexis Kashar of LOVE SIGN and Howard Rosenblum of Deaf Equality.
“Charlie, Brandi, and Coco are generational talents, and we are honored to have them alongside our extraordinary deaf performers on Super Bowl LX’s world stage,” said Desiree Perez, CEO of Roc Nation, which is producing the event with DPS and Jesse Collins. “This moment embodies the very best of culture, live performance and our country.”
The combination of star power, musical diversity, and groundbreaking accessibility sets the stage for what promises to be one of the most inclusive and culturally resonant Super Bowl pregame shows in recent years. From Puth’s pop-infused anthem performance to Carlile’s rich vocals and Jones’s soulful delivery, fans can expect a powerful start to the NFL’s biggest night.
As anticipation builds for the halftime performance by Bad Bunny expected to celebrate both Latin music and global pop culture the pregame lineup offers a strong preview of the energy, artistry, and representation that Super Bowl LX aims to bring to audiences around the world.
